Emma Willig and Krystine Salyers both work at the Main Library. A few months ago, they noticed that the female-identifying cardholders they interacted with had trouble finding basic health services in Hamilton County. March is International Women’s Month, so Willig and Salyers decided to bring together a holistic community of presenters in one place.
The Library is launching an innovative pilot project at the Main Library to connect social services with people who need it. During the month of March, providers will set up tables in the south building Atrium to promote social services available in our communities. The tables will be staffed by social services organizations each Friday morning in March from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
